The Shopify switching guide

From Shopify to Nouq, with just your store link.

Paste your Shopify store link and we read your published products with their options and photos — no files. Then: no share of your sales, and cash on delivery and Saudi invoicing built into the platform.

Three ways to bring your data

Pick the easiest, or combine them.

Every way shows you the result before anything is imported, and they all live on one page in your dashboard.

Fastest · about a minute

1.Paste your store link

We read what any visitor sees in your store. No password, no API keys, no app to install.

From Shopify we bring:

Published products with options, prices and photos. Stock isn't public on Shopify, so it comes from the export.

We read published products, nothing behind a login. Hidden products and drafts come from the export file.

Products · customers · coupons

2.Drop your export files

Every export from your Shopify dashboard, in one place, all at once. We sort each file by its columns automatically.

Where to find them in Shopify:

  • ProductsProducts → Export (with stock and drafts)
  • CustomersCustomers → Export → «CSV for Excel»
  • CouponsDiscounts → Export
Any platform or Excel

3.Upload any spreadsheet

WooCommerce, OpenCart, Magento, or a file you put together yourself. We match Arabic and English columns, and you pick the meaning of any we don't know.

A ready Excel template in your dashboard

Most merchants combine them: the link for products, exports for customers and coupons. A product imported twice is updated, never duplicated.

Clean data

It arrives tidy, not copy-pasted.

Moving isn't just getting it there. Here's what we do so it arrives right:

See it before you commit

A preview of every product, customer and coupon; nothing is imported until you approve. You can import products as drafts first.

No duplicates

A product imported again is updated instead of copied, and the same phone number twice is one customer.

Every error explained

Any row with a problem tells you what's wrong and how to fix it; download the errors, fix them and upload again.

Your old links still work

We keep each product's name from its old link, so visitors from Google or an old link land on the same product in your new store.

Your photos, now yours

Up to 10 photos per product are copied into your store, so nothing depends on your old store once you close it.

Your customers' privacy kept

Marketing consent never moves (PDPL), so your store asks again before messaging anyone. Expired coupons are left behind.

Why merchants move

Four reasons to move today.

No share of your sales

Shopify takes 2% of every sale on Basic unless you use Shopify Payments. Nouq takes no share of your sales, and its price includes VAT, with a Saudi tax invoice.

Cash on delivery, built in

Every order is confirmed before it ships, with a risk score from Nouq's merchant network and delivery prices per city — no apps.

Invoicing and VAT, no app

A ZATCA Phase 2 tax invoice with a QR code on every order, and the National Address short code at checkout.

Move with your store link

Paste your store link and we read your published catalog with options and photos — or upload the export if you have drafts.

What comes with you

Clear before you start.

We won't say “everything moves”. Here is exactly what happens:

Moves automatically

  • Products with names and descriptions (Arabic and English)
  • Options — sizes, colours and more, up to 3 per product
  • Price, compare-at price, stock and SKU for every option
  • Categories, and up to 10 photos per product
  • Customers: phone, name and email
  • Live coupons: type, value, minimum and dates
  • Your old product links lead to the new pages

You set up in minutes

  • Payment methods and cash on delivery
  • Delivery methods and rates
  • Your domain — connect it and we issue the certificate
  • Your template and colours

Keep a copy yourself

  • Past orders: export them from Shopify and keep the file — orders on Nouq carry their invoices and stock moves
  • Reviews: republishing needs each reviewer's consent
  • Passwords aren't needed: customers sign in to your new store with their phone number

The steps

Five steps, one sitting.

Most stores finish the move in one sitting. Your old store keeps selling the whole time.

  1. 1

    Create your Nouq store

    2 min

With your phone number, free, no card.

  2. 2

Two ways to move your Shopify products

    5 min
    1. 1Fastest: paste your store link on the «Move your store» page and we read your published products with options and photos.
    2. 2Export products (Products → Export) for stock and drafts, plus customers (Customers → Export) and discounts (Discounts → Export), and drop the files in together.

Shopify doesn't show stock to visitors, so the link brings everything but inventory; the products export fills it in.

  3. 3

    Review the preview and approve

    10 min

We show you products, options, photos, customers and coupons before importing, and explain any row with a problem and how to fix it. You can import products as drafts first.

  4. 4

    Set up payments and shipping

    15 min

Turn on cash on delivery, set delivery prices per city, and place a test order.

  5. 5

    Connect your domain and launch

    Depends on your registrar

Point your domain at Nouq and we issue the certificate automatically. Once everything works, cancel your old plan.

Questions about moving

Do I need to grant access or install an app on Shopify to move by link?

No. We read what any visitor sees in your published store: products, options, prices and photos. We never ask for a password or install anything in your store.

My Shopify store is in English. How does it become Arabic?

Products move in their own language, and your Nouq store is Arabic from the first line. Copilot can write an Arabic title and description for each product.

Does my Shopify store stop while I move?

No. Moving is a copy, not a cut: your Shopify store keeps selling until you point your domain at Nouq. Then cancel your old plan whenever you like.

How long does it take?

Most stores finish in one sitting: minutes to create the store and upload the file, then time to review the preview and set up payments and shipping. Connecting the domain depends on your registrar.

Do you need my Shopify password?

No. The link reads what any visitor sees in your published store, and the rest comes from files you export from your Shopify dashboard. We never ask for a password or keys, and never install anything in your store.

What about my customers and past orders?

Customers move from their export: phone, name and email, and the same number twice becomes one customer. Customers sign in to your new store with their phone number, so there are no passwords to reset. Keep your past order history as an export from Shopify.

Can I keep my domain?

Yes. Connect it in your Nouq store settings (from the Pro plan); once you update the DNS record we issue the certificate automatically.

What if my file has mistakes?

Nothing is imported until you approve it. The preview explains every row with a problem and how to fix it, and you can download the errors, fix them and upload again. Products you already imported are updated, not duplicated.

Can someone help me?

The move is designed for you to do yourself. If you get stuck on a step, the Nouq team is there.

Your new store is one sitting away.

Create your store free today and move your products calmly: nothing is imported before you've seen it.
