Questions about moving
My Zid products are in Arabic and English. Do both languages come across?
Yes. We read the Arabic and English name and description columns into their own fields, so your Nouq store is bilingual from day one.
I use Zid POS in my shop. Can I move?
Honestly: point of sale isn't on Nouq yet. If the till is central to your day, weigh that; if you sell online first, moving suits you today.
Does my Zid store stop while I move?
No. Moving is a copy, not a cut: your Zid store keeps selling until you point your domain at Nouq. Then cancel your old plan whenever you like.
How long does it take?
Most stores finish in one sitting: minutes to create the store and upload the file, then time to review the preview and set up payments and shipping. Connecting the domain depends on your registrar.
Do you need my Zid password?
No. The link reads what any visitor sees in your published store, and the rest comes from files you export from your Zid dashboard. We never ask for a password or keys, and never install anything in your store.
What about my customers and past orders?
Customers move from their export: phone, name and email, and the same number twice becomes one customer. Customers sign in to your new store with their phone number, so there are no passwords to reset. Keep your past order history as an export from Zid.
Can I keep my domain?
Yes. Connect it in your Nouq store settings (from the Pro plan); once you update the DNS record we issue the certificate automatically.
What if my file has mistakes?
Nothing is imported until you approve it. The preview explains every row with a problem and how to fix it, and you can download the errors, fix them and upload again. Products you already imported are updated, not duplicated.

The move is designed for you to do yourself. If you get stuck on a step, the Nouq team is there.
