Terms of service

Last updated:

By using Nouq, as a merchant or a visitor, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1.The service

Nouq lets merchants create an online store and manage their products, orders and customers. We may add, change or retire features over time.

2.Your account

You must be at least 18 and give accurate details. You're responsible for keeping access to your account safe and for everything done through it. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got in.

3.Your store, your responsibility

The merchant is the seller; Nouq only provides the tools. So you're responsible for:

  • Your products, their descriptions, prices and images being accurate and yours to sell.
  • Fulfilling orders, delivery, returns and customer service.
  • Following the law in your country, including consumer protection and tax.
  • Handling your customers' data lawfully and in line with the privacy policy.

4.What's not allowed

You may not use Nouq for:

  • Selling anything illegal, or anything that needs a licence you don't hold.
  • Counterfeit goods or anything that infringes others' rights.
  • Fraud, misleading customers, or spam.
  • Trying to disrupt the platform or reach data that isn't yours.

5.Plans and fees

Current prices are published on nouq.net and include your store's country VAT. The currency you pay in is shown with the price. Paid plans are paid in advance for each period. You can cancel any time and your store keeps running until the paid period ends. We'll tell you before any price change that affects you, and the refund policy explains when money is returned.

6.Content and ownership

Your store's content is yours, and you let us store and display it as needed to run your store. The Nouq platform, its design, templates and logo belong to Nouq; your plan gives you the right to use the templates in your store.

7.Apps and third-party services

Apps, delivery services and other third-party services are governed by their providers' terms, and Nouq isn't responsible for them.

8.Suspension and closing

You can close your store any time, and export your products and orders first. We may suspend a store that breaks these terms or the law, telling you why where we can.

9.Limits of liability

We work to keep Nouq available and secure, but it's provided as is, without a guarantee that it will be free of interruptions or errors. As far as the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid Nouq in the three months before the claim.

10.Changes and contact

We may change these terms. Changes are published here with their date, and we email merchants about important ones before they take effect. Continuing to use Nouq afterwards means you accept them.
